Leading design for everything on Notepad. Experimenting with AI features like generating text from a prompt, rewriting and summarizing text based on the original content and bringing text formatting and markdown syntax to the app.
Lead designer merging Snipping Tool and Snip & Sketch into a unified product for Windows 11. Worked towards modernizing the experience with features like screen recording with built in flexibility to define your region.
Lead design to improve overall intuitiveness for the sound recorder experience by rethinking the recording flow. Brought an end to end single track editing experience right to dev handoff but unfortunately org priorties shift and we lost funding for the feature. It still remains one of my favorite projects.
Kicking off at the start of the AI generation boom, an egineer and myself quickly put together a feature to create summaries of reviews in the microsoft store to reduce the time and effort required to get an idea of what people are saying about a specific app.
